The Biennial Palmer Woods Home & Garden Tour is a very special weekend.  During the 2017 Tour, a sold-out event, Palmer Woods residents opened their doors for 1500 guests from the Metro-Detroit area and beyond.  Each year, our tour is one of Detroit’s major events, and is covered by outlets such as Curbed Detroit, Visit Detroit, and Hour Detroit Magazine.

The 2019 Home & Garden Tour welcomes an exciting format for the tour. In addition to the Sunday Tour, this year we offer a Saturday Evening Soirée and Preview Tour, where we will roll out the red carpet for what will be a truly exceptional experience for our guests, by offering food and libation, live music, and specially curated gift bags for those who attend. A separately ticketed event, the Soirée is geared toward a discerning group of guests, all of whom are keenly interested in exceptional homes, fine gardening, one-of-a-kind architecture, and truly stunning design. For this reason, the Soirée offers numerous exceptional opportunities for sponsorship.

About the Palmer Woods Home & Garden Tour

The Biennial Home & Garden Tour is our largest weekend-long fundraiser dedicated to neighborhood beautification efforts and other community-oriented projects within and surrounding the neighborhood.  In addition, a portion of event proceeds is distributed to a group of local charities each year. Past recipients of charitable contributions include COTS, Palmer Park Preparatory Academy, Alternative for Girls, and Mosaic Youth Theater.
