Holiday Home Tour and Soirée
The Holiday Home Tour and Soirée brings together the best aspects of the holiday season into one spectacular event. Come enjoy an evening of merrymaking, which includes a festive evening Soirée paired with an insider’s tour of several beautuful homes, all decked out in holiday style. Presented for the first time in several years, our Tour will capture warm glow of the holiday season while offering an unparalleled opportunity to view some of our most storied and stunning homes.
The Holiday Home Tour & Soirée Returns!
We are thrilled to announce the return of the The Palmer Woods Holiday Home Tour & Soirée this year on December 4, 2021!
Past year’s tours have been enjoyed by hundreds of guests who make it a tradition to enjoy the hostoric homes of Palmer Woods. The event will allow guests the chance to tour four of our historically significant homes, lavishly dressed in holiday splendor. Following the tour, guests will gather at one of our larger scale homes to enjoy great food and entertainment.
Our priority throughout the event will be to keep everyone safe & healthy. All event guests and participants must be COVID-19 vaccinated and COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
Tickets for the event will be on sale soon at palmerwoods.org. Please check our website regularly for event updates and for ticket sale information. Only a limited amount of tickets will be offered for this event in the interest of keeping our guests safe.
Net proceeds from Palmer Woods events are used to fund various infrastructure projects which have benefit to our neighborhood. In addition, a portion of proceeds is given to local charities.
Biennial Home & Garden Tour
The Biennial Home & Garden Tour is our largest weekend-long fundraiser dedicated to neighborhood beautification efforts and other community-oriented projects within and surrounding the neighborhood. In addition, a portion of event proceeds is distributed to a group of local charities each year. One of Metro Detroit’s premiere summer events, our Tour offers an unparalleled opportunity to view some of our neighborhood’s most stunning homes and gardens.
2019 Home and Garden Tour Recap
On behalf of everyone in Palmer Woods, we would like to thank you for attending our 2019 Home & Garden Tour, which was held on July 13th & 14th of this year. From start to finish, the weather cooperated beautifully (though perhaps a bit warm at times!) to create a very special weekend for you, our cherished friends and guests. We hope that you were able to enjoy all of the beautiful homes and gardens that were presented on this year’s Tour, all of which contribute to the diversity and grandeur of our storied neighborhood.
We are proud to say that over the course of two days, we were able to welcome several hundreds of guests into our neighborhood to enjoy the many beautiful homes and gardens on the Tour, selling out both days! Thanks to your support, we were able to raise a significant amount of funds for neighborhood beautification and improvement projects, as well as for charitable contributions to benefit several Detroit-based charities. Most importantly, your participation in our Tour has helped to solidify Palmer Woods as one of the premiere neighborhoods in Metro Detroit. Without your enthusiastic attendance and your willingness to spend the weekend with us, this level of success would not have been possible.
