Thomas is one of the art collectors whose private holdings were tapped for “Detroit Collects,” the recent show at the Detroit Institute of Arts featuring pieces from the private holdings of 19 prominent collectors of African-American art. Featured as part of the “Show Us Your Wall” series, the article includes many photographs from Lorna’s private collection, taken in her 1925 Tudor revival Palmer Woods home.
