The Palmer Woods Biennial Home & Garden Tour
The Biennial Home & Garden Tour is our largest weekend-long fundraiser dedicated to neighborhood beautification efforts and other community-oriented projects within and surrounding the neighborhood. In addition, a portion of event proceeds is distributed to a group of local charities each year. One of Metro Detroit’s premier summer events, our Tour offers an unparalleled opportunity to view some of our neighborhood’s most stunning homes and gardens.
2019 Home and Garden Tour Recap
On behalf of everyone in Palmer Woods, we would like to thank you for attending our 2019 Home & Garden Tour, which was held on July 13th & 14th of this year. From start to finish, the weather cooperated beautifully (though perhaps a bit warm at times!) to create a very special weekend for you, our cherished friends and guests. We hope that you were able to enjoy all of the beautiful homes and gardens that were presented on this year’s Tour, all of which contribute to the diversity and grandeur of our storied neighborhood.
We are proud to say that over the course of two days, we were able to welcome several hundreds of guests into our neighborhood to enjoy the many beautiful homes and gardens on the Tour, selling out both days! Thanks to your support, we were able to raise a significant amount of funds for neighborhood beautification and improvement projects, as well as for charitable contributions to benefit several Detroit-based charities. Most importantly, your participation in our Tour has helped to solidify Palmer Woods as one of the premier neighborhoods in Metro Detroit. Without your enthusiastic attendance and your willingness to spend the weekend with us, this level of success would not have been possible.

2019 Tour Schedule
Evening Soirée and Preview Tour
Saturday, July 13, 5:00-10:00PM
Tickets for the Saturday Soirée are $125, and permit attendees to visit both days. The event will be limited to 200 attendees.
At this premier event, we will roll out the red carpet for what will be a truly exceptional experience for our guests. The evening will begin at 5:00PM, offering a strolling dinner, curated libations, and live music. Beginning at 6:00PM, motor coaches will run throughout the neighborhood, delivering Soirée attendees to an exclusive “behind the scenes” viewing of the other homes and gardens on the tour, where docents will be onsite to offer small-group evening tours of the residences. After tours conclude at 9:00PM, attendees will be welcomed to return to the Soirée to round out the evening with a nightcap cocktail and desserts.

Biennial Palmer Woods Home & Garden Tour
Sunday, July 14, 10:00AM-5:00PM
Tickets for Sunday are $35 in advance, $40 day of the event (based on availability), $15 for children 13-18, and free for children 12 and under. The event will be limited to 1000 attendees.
We bring back our sold-out Home & Garden Tour with this one-day viewing of some of the most magnificent homes and gardens in our neighborhood. Motor coaches will begin running throughout the neighborhood at 10 AM, delivering guests door-to-door to the various residences featured on the tour. Or, guests are invited to stroll the neighborhood on a walking tour. In addition, there will be a centrally-located Welcome and Hospitality Station, where our guests can have a rest in the shade while noshing from some of Detroit’s most appetizing food trucks. The final tours of the day will begin wrapping up around 5 PM, offering a full day of programming for our guests.
