Phil Lewis a lifelong Detroiter and graduate of College for Creative Studies submitted the winning logo design for the Palmer Woods Centennial Logo Design competition.
Jed Durkin and Craig Vanderburg led students from Universal Academy on a historic tour of the neighborhood April 28.

Kids of all ages enjoyed the sunshine, a bounce house, snacks, and a costume parade through the neighborhood at Palmer Woods first Harvest Fest in 2014.
Every year, the Palmer Woods Association provides charitable contributions to an impressive group of local nonprofits, using a portion of the proceeds earned through special events.
Last September, close to 100 Palmer Woods residents turned out for a joyous late summer afternoon filled with food, frolic, friends, fun and lots and lots of dancing. 2015’s picnic promises to be even better yet-stay tuned. Click on photo to read more.
